The Kakau Canteen
The Kakau Canteen was a heavily-themed tiki bar I built in my Columbus, OH basement. While not entirely video or motion graphics-based, this personal project of mine includes various video and design elements, including projection and lighting effects, a faux TV window, an interactive/talking mask, and a newsreel video created to delve into the bar’s backstory. Since relocating to Orlando, the Canteen is obviously no more. But the hope is to rebuild it in our new Florida home… in due time.
